Welcome to world of the Northland Artists Conversation. Its NZ Music Month and we thought we would run a very special series focusing on some of the amazing musicians that we have had on the podcast to celebrate them. Over the weeks of May, we will highlight these talented people.
Our first group this week is local hip hop legend Andrew MacKenzie from OBC, folk and acoustic assassin Maggie Cocco, international rock icon and also solo artist Jon Toogood from Shihad, punk and local music guru Matt Sheppard and the multi talented and diverse Brent Strathdee-Pehi.
Here at Northland Artists Conversation, we wanted to find a unique way to celebrate the huge diversity of musicians that either reside in Northland or visit the region frequently.
